Why do they only show women licking their teeth in the toothpaste ads?

Yes, OPD, my point exactly. Just who is it, do you suppose, who buys the majority of toothpaste in this old world? When is the last time you bought a tube of toothpaste without it being on a list penned by Flame? Now, may be, you are one of the few, but lets talk about the average guy. And is Flame convinced to buy a brand other than her favorite because she saw some sweet young thing lick her teeth? Bet not.

You are correct, in that neither Flame or I buy toothpaste that is advertised in whatever manner. Both our preferences were established looooong ago by our parents, dentists, and in some cases by what we could afford. I used baking soda for a long time. And I do the majority of shopping, and use a list provided by Flame, but she just puts on the list;
